KYC Verification

Before you can start donating and voting for projects, you will have to complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) registration and verification.

Steps

  1. Select "Verify now" on the top right corner of your dashboard to start the KYC process.
  2. Click on "Verification"
  3. Download the Socious Wallet app:
    • "Download on the App Store" for iOS
    • "Get it on Google Play" for Android
  4. After downloading the wallet, click on "Create a wallet"
  5. Click on "Set up Passcode"
  6. Create your Passcode — choose a 6-digit code and repeat it to confirm
  7. Click on "Get started"
  8. Select "Start now" on the Credentials page
  9. Click on "Get verified"
  10. Click on "Continue"
  11. Choose the document you'd like to use and select the country that issued the document. Take a photo of the front side, then the back side of the document.
  12. Click "Continue" for face recognition. Place your head within the frame, capture and submit.
  13. Wait for a few minutes for Didit to approve and verify your identity, then go back to the Socious Wallet app.
  14. The banner on top of your dashboard should turn green after successful verification. Now, you can officially start supporting projects!
